"MY BARRIO"

 I live in El Palo, a neighbourhood of Málaga. My neighbourhood has changed a lot for seventy-five years ago more or less.

 In the past El Palo was ancient. There were only a few houses. There didn't use to be any flats or big shops, any pavements... There used to be a lot of trees and plants, mountains everywhere. People didn't have water in their houses so the had to go to a fountain called "La fuente de la Olla". Now El Palo has got many big buildings, shops and schools.

    

   Most of the men worked as fishing-men. Women used to do the house work and take care of their children, because childrens didn't go to the school. Now people can work y many different jobs. Most of the people work in offices, banks or shops.

   They weren't any cars because the people haven't got much money, they used horses to transport their goods. Nowadays people have their own cars or a motorbike. 

In my opinion now is better because the life is easier for everybody how living here and is funnier for childrens.
